Tractor Races “Bizon-Track-Show” Found The Followers in The Crimea

The team of tractor races was supplemented with mechanizers of agricultural firms in the Crimea. The first tractor competitions outside Russia took place in September in the draw Tubai near Simferopol.

Bizon-Track-Show is being held in Rostov-on-Don during seven years. Every year this tractor competition becomes more attractive, the quantity of participants and fandom of this unusual kind of sport grows. As pilots say, the races not only promote the mastership in tractor’s driving — besides this appears the additional stimulus for good work.

In 2009 the idea of tractor races was supported by agro companies in the Crimea. 32 mechanizers (the eldest is 69 years old) congregated on the 12 km-long track. The winner was determinated according to the Olympic system in the process of paired heats. Not everyone managed to come over speed tracks, steep rises, sharp declines and deep water barriers.

Sergey Ryabov from Simferopol was the first who came to finish on the tractor “Belarus”(MTZ-80). There were more than 10 thousands viewers on the show.

— We are glad that our intention to extend the boundaries of tractor races found the response abroad, — said Sergey Sukhovenko, General Director of Bizon Company. — We invite three best pilots from the Crimea to the international tournament “Bizon Track Show 2010” that will take place in May.
