Bizon track show 2010

At the VIII annual tractor races the Bizon-Track-Show 2010 the winner is Alexandr Chumak from CJSC «Stepnoy» at Tsimlyansky district of the Rostov region. At the key round he left behind twice champion and two other pilots. It was for the first time that the best racer of the country was defined by the synchronous start of four finalists at once.
At the Bizon-Track-Show 2010 took part 34 tractor racers from Rostov region, Krasnodar area and the Crimea (Ukraine). The distance of the racing line was over 8400 metres, along the whole length the pilots showed not only the speed up to 85 km/h but the compound elements of driving. Over 20 000 of lookers from Russia, Ukraine, Belarussia and Germany saw the tractor battles on baking sun.

The competitions 2010 are focused on one-to-one struggle. The 3 rounds from 6 were pair. One of them was with the weight of 1200 kg. During the jumping-off places, dangerous turns and obstacles overcoming one pilot was turned over, the 3 other pilots left the distance, the police car was crashed by tractor. Thanks to the stricted security and safety rules the competitions passed without any dramatic cases. Every pilot was insured for 1 mln of roubles.

The most spectacular and unpredictable was the final round. Four pilots at once started the line. The places at the starting line were brought to conformity with the results shown at the previous competitions. The first was Anatoly Bobrovsky, twice champion of the Bizon-Track-Show. But the head start of Alexandr Chumak did not leave any chance to win to the favorite of the previous rounds.

The best tractor racers of Russia 2010 became the representatives of the Rostov region: Alexandr Chumak (AgroComplex «Stepnoy» at Tsimlyansky district), Anatoly Bobrovsky (CJSC Kirov stud farm at Tselinsky district), Vartan Khiabakhyan (AgroComplex «Druzhba», Myasnikovsky district). They will participate in september at the competition with the ukrainian mechanizers under Simferopol.

The tractor races Bizon-Track-Show are being organized in Rostov region since 2002. During these years over 100 farm racers took part in it. The teams construct the sport tractors on the base of МТЗ-80 и МТЗ-82. Competition after competition the all-round become more extreme and the population of participants and admirers of the exceptional kind of sport is considerably increasing. Among the pilots the competition allows to improve the mastership in tractor’s driving as well as the additional incentives for a good work appear accordingly. Traditionally the main prize is Belarus tractor specially designed. In 2009 году the idea of the tractor races was supported by agro companies in the Crimea.
